This beaded necklace breathes with the past — a time when every woman carried not just adornment, but the code of her lineage upon her chest. It recreates an authentic pattern from Novoselytsia village, Khust District, Zakarpattia region (1930s) — two connected parts woven in a net-like structure, like two worlds: sky and earth, past and present, spirit and matter. Its rhythm echoes the breath of generations. When you wear this piece, you become part of an unbroken circle of Ukrainian women — strong, grounded, and as timeless as the Carpathians. Recreated by Comely UA, based on a historical piece documented in Olena Fedorchuk’s book “Ukrainian Folk Beaded Jewelry.”

Symbolism:
The rhombic motifs are ancient symbols of fertility, feminine power, and balance.
In traditional belief, the diamond shape represents the sown field — a sacred sign of life, continuity, and connection between generations.
Each color carries its own code of energy:
Red — lifeblood of the lineage, vitality, love.
Black — earth, grounding, stability.
Blue — water, clarity, peace.
Green — renewal, harmony, rebirth.
White — purity, spirit, divine protection.
This necklace is a living code of heritage, reborn in the rhythm of today. It carries the same energy it once held: strength, memory, serenity, and beauty.
Each Comely UA piece is handcrafted. Subtle variations in color or bead alignment are marks of authenticity — traces of time, touch, and the maker’s soul.
Comely UA — a movement where beauty becomes strength and tradition turns into living energy.
